I am having paper envy attacks. Lovin the videoblogs, or is it vlogs and Venice is abslutely gorgeous. Glad you had a sunny day for your stroll. Have you had to wade through any water yet? Looks pretty dry to me. When are you going to feed the pigeons? Where do you buy your food? Where are all the cats? Please try on some Venetian masks and send us pics:)

Was I the only one who went “ooooo” like those little aliens in Toy Story on seeing that paper. Ooo. I told my hubby today I want to move to Venice. Apparently, I have to learn to speak Italian first….

You are so wise to have brought extra glasses…and of course, one never travels without leaving something essential at home, it is just a given thats all. Lovely paper and such an inspiration to stamp ones own like that. Thanks so much for all u r doing for us. Looking forward to hearing about your eating adventures once you’ve found your way around. It does seem a little maze-like. I think I’ll celebrate with a cocktail tomorrow as I continue working on my journal. Have a lovely restful sleep my dear.

The thing about living alone is you can keep a really wacky schedule…

I’m with Violet – so many things I want to know. Mostly about paper and what Venice tastes like. Ummmm, food.

Il Papyri I think that’s the name…I will look it up tomorrow – but they have amazing paper. Maybe that’s where your friend Suzanne sent you?!

I have those exact glasses that you are now missing. The tiger stripe ones; they’re sitting on my nose as I type. I can send them along, because you have better things to do with your time than hunt down reading glasses! How did you resist buying one of her books?

Can I say again, I am just LOVING seeing you in Venezia. Loving it!! Love hearing the apt. keys clink on the table & watch you open up the day’s acquisitions. Maybe because we’ve travelled together & because I’ve spent time in Venice, it all feels so wonderfully familiar. Make sure you keep track of all the names & addresses, because, as you said earlier, you will be back.
Buona notte, S.

I was a bit worried you were going to strangle yourself with that scarf:) Love that paper and hearing about your walk about.

Cannot wait to see the big glue pic! But mostly I cannot wait to see the inside of your journal! And to see everything else, too!

Just enjoying every second of our travels. The paper is so ooooooollllllaaalllaaaaa! translation would be AWESOME. I had to smile as I watched you emerge from behind all those rounds of scarf. Far as I can tell you could be MN transplant and no one would know the difference. I’m enjoying these video moments so very much. I’m saving them for when everyone is all tucked in for the night. I want to immerse myself into each and every second undisturbed. And the photos couldn’t be any better, slices of life, the minimal decorations are so lovely, seems to be more about the humble roots of the holiday and not all the bluster and commercialism. Refreshing indeed.

You are the best companion to travel with Mary Ann! I TOTALLY LOVE your style. And that is why you find some of the most coolest things – such as this beautiful paper – and have the most interesting stories to share. Tossing the “walks” book serves you well! I am so enjoying this – you just don’t know my delight.

I’m loving being transported back to Venice. Having only been there for 2 days in 2008, I feel I had just a glimpse of it. Thank you Mary Ann, for reminding me of the charm and beauty of the city. And isn’t part of that charm, getting lost and finding your way without the maps? Your videos and words are bringing back so many precious memories!!! Many, many thanks!!!
